Comaneci serves on a number of charitable boards, including those of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. She remains active in supporting numerous charitable organisations in Romania. It is the case for Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital of Bucharest.
