Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian performer and actress well-known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam films. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born in Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. Also, she has one younger sister, who works as a research associate in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano at the age of eight. Andrea was a huge enthusiast who aspired to become a psychiatrist. When she was 10, she was an active member of the Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing and music composing career. Also, she was an actor in the college. She was president of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's career in theatre began with the play of Girishkarnad Nagamandala. The role she played in 2006's Leo Coffee commercial was with Shiva. The actress also appeared in a television show that airs on Podhigai. She has appeared in various shows across India. She had a small role on the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). After she rendered a song in Gautham Vasudev Menon's film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiya she was asked to appear as one of the lead female characters in his upcoming venture Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani in this film, which is an adaptation of the novel by James Siegel. The husband of the character is involved in a relationship with her and is blackmailed by her husband. Andrea was approached following Simran Shobana's death and Tabu. The film was released in early the year 2010. In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu made his debut with the multi-starrer Mankatha. She was asked to take on a lesser part in the film. Annayum Rasoolum is a romantic movie made by Rajeeev Rath that was released in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
